1. what is your present state of mind?
I am feeling calm and happy.
2. where were you born?
I was born in New York.
3. where do you live now?
I live on the internet.
4. where would you like to live?
I would love to live in Brooklyn. That place is wonderful. Every time I’m in Brooklyn I always make so many new friends.
5. do you think you’re interesting?
People tend to think I’m memorable due to my positive energy. I tend to go on long rants about whatever I’m passionate about. There are so many wonderful things in the world I want to see and do. A few people have said ‘You’re the most unique person I’ve ever met’. Hope that counts for something.
6. how is your love life?
I love my beautiful, slothy wife. We live in sin together.
7. what were you like as a child?
As a child I was really blind. I’m still blind. Back as a kid I thought to myself ‘Dang, thick-framed glasses will never be cool’. I’m glad that aspect of our culture worked out well for me.
8. what did you eat today?
I ate vegetarian bacon, a microwavable Panini thing, and some chicken with pasta. My diet tends to be low-energy and unexciting.
9. have you ever created culture or art?
My life is my art. Think my blog gives an accurate depiction of how my mind works and how I process culture. Hope people think my work is art. I want to support others through what I do. People need to know they can become creators. I’m happy to see so many people embracing a creative lifestyle.
10. do you like drinking alcohol or using drugs?
My mind is already exciting enough without any outside elements. Sometimes I drink coffee though.
11. what kind of people do you hate?
I love everyone. Everyone has their own unique gift.
12. what are your goals, if you have any?
My goal is to have a nice life and support others through my work, whatever it may ultimately be.
13. do you have any depressing stories about your life?
Every year the depressing stories about my life get slightly less depressing and funnier to me. It’s like I’m looking back on an old version of me and saying to myself ‘Dang, who was that guy’.
14. who are your favorite authors?
I could mention some alt lit writers but I’d never be able to mention them all so I’ll focus instead on non-alt lit writers.
Thomas Pynchon, Joseph Heller, and Daniel Pinkwater
15.what will you be doing ten years from now?
Hope I’ll have a book finished in a decade. That would be grand. Owning an apartment or house would be pretty terrific too.
